Abstract
This Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Food establishes: (1) the content of the application for registration of the variety in the catalog and supporting documents that must accompany this application; (2) the verification procedure of conditions for entry of a variety in the catalog; (3) deadlines for delivery of sample material for testing seed varieties; (4) requirements regarding naming of varieties; (5) procedures and methods for the assessment of distinctness, uniformity and stability of a variety; special conditions and the procedure for registration of a protected variety in the catalog; (6) conditions to be met by laboratories testing varieties. This Regulation is composed of 32 articles divided into the following Sections: General provisions (Sec. 1); Application for entry of a variety in the catalog (Sec. 2); Verification of the eligibility of varieties (Sec. 3); Management of the catalog (Sec. 4); Additional requirements and exceptions (Sec. 5); Testing of special varieties (Sec. 6); Requirements for the appointment of contractors (Sec. 7); Transitional and final provisions (Sec. 8).
