Abstract
This Act lays down the rules and procedures relating to the management and organization of the harbours of Turkey. It grants regulation-making powers to the Undersecreteriat of Maritime Affairs. The Act is consisted of 21 Articles. The provisions of the Act are executed by the government. It has been amended three times in 1931 and 2008. Provisions for the management of specific harbours has been regulated by several different regulations.
