Abstract
This Law amends certain articles of Law No. 3285 on animal health and Enforcement Agency. An amendment is relative to the occurrence of a disease in a foreign country. Livestock importation and/or transit movements may be halted or restricted from the countries of disease occurrence. These restrictions will be imposed by considering the bulletins of related international agencies and/or based on information received from Turkish diplomatic representatives. The other amendment is on livestock transportation vehicles. Livestock transportation companies and contractors have to notify the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of any movement and their vehicles should be in conformity with the specifications specified by the Ministry.
