Abstract
This Notification lays down procedures and principles of amateur fishing for non-commercial and recreational purposes, with the fishing tools allowed to be used in non-prohibited areas. This Notification sets forth provisions on amateur fishing for domestic and foreign fishers in inland waters and at sea; amateur fishing permit; protected species; prohibited fishing areas in inland waters and at sea; ecologically harmful and potentially dangerous fish species in inland waters and at sea; minimum sizes for caught freshwater and marine fishes; time and area restrictions; and administrative sanctions. These provisions shall be implemented between 1 September 2020 and 31 August 2024.
