Abstract
This Notification aims to reduce the use of chemical pesticides by promoting alternative control techniques in plant production and to protect human health and the environment. It lays down provisions on the requirements to be entitled to support payment; the amount of support payment; procedures and principles of application and evaluation; inspection by the Ministry; recovery of unfair payments; sanctions; and financing and payments to producers who engage in biological and/or biotechnical control.

This Notification enters into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette and shall be effective from 1 January 2023.

The provisions of this Notification are enforced by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry.
