Law on planting material (Republic of Srpska).

This Law prescribes all necessary conditions, methods of production and marketing of planting materials of fruit trees, vines, hops and ornamental plants, recognition of newly domestic varieties, registration of varieties and the Register of varieties of fruit trees, vines, hops, ornamental plants and various substrates, also including inspection related matters and the mandatory maintenance and research of registered varieties and other issues of importance for the production of quality planting material on the territory of the Republic of Srpska (part of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina).
This Law provides for a complete classification of planting materials as follows: pre-basic planting material; basic planting material; certified planting material; and standard planting material.
The Law is divided into VII Chapters and 71 articles, including the offences and related penalties.
