Abstract
This Order lays down rules for the import of animal-food and the application of veterinary controls at border posts. It also covers information exchange in connection with the arrival of ships from third countries in Danish ports and landing of aircraft from third countries in Danish airports, and lays down penalties for violating EU legislation relating to veterinary controls.The purpose of this Order is to ensure that food is accompanied by the required documentation. Food which does not adhere to EU production and marketing rules may be imported only after prior permission from the Food Agency authorities.
