Abstract
Annex VI to Directive 91/414/EEC, which lays down uniform principles for the evaluation of plant protection products, is amended in accordance with the Annex attached to the present Directive. Firstly, the Title of the Annex shall be replaced by the following: “Uniform principles for evaluation and authorization of chemical plant protection products”. Moreover, Part II shall be added. This new Part deals with uniform pinciples for the evaluation and authorization of plant protection products which contain microorganisms. The objective of an evaluation is to identify and assess, on a scientific basis, potential adverse effects on human health, animal health and the environment of the use o a microbial plant protection product.
