Sea-Fisheries (Common Fisheries Policy Community Control System) Regulations 2011 (S.I. No. 490 of 2011).

These Regulations provide that a contravention of any provision of Community Regulations on control system for ensuring compliance with the rules of the Common Fisheries Policy, is a contravention of the Sea-Fisheries and Maritime Jurisdiction Act 2006. Offences concern, among other things, fishing licences, installation of vessel monitoring systems, completion and submission or transmission of the fishing logbook, prior notification of landing in another Member State, notification of fishing gear to the competent authority of his or her flag Member State, forgery of documents, landing of fish at designated ports and use of fishing gear.
