Abstract
Pursuant to the European Community legislation in force relevant to sampling methods and methods of analysis for the official control of foods, these Regulations lay down rules governing sampling methods and methods of analysis for the official control of particular contaminants in foodstuffs. The following Schedules are attached: (I) Methods of sampling for official checking control of the levels of aflatoxins in certain foodstuffs; (II) Sample preparation and criteria for methods of analysis used in official checking of the levels of aflatoxins in certain foodstuffs; (III) Methods of sampling for official control of the levels of lead, cadmium, mercury and 3-MPCD in certain foodstuffs; (IV) Sample preparation and criteria for Methods of analysis used in official control of the levels of lead, cadmium, mercury and 3-MCPD in certain foodstuffs; (V) Methods of sampling for official control of the levels of ochratoxin A in certain foodstuffs; (VI) Sample preparation and criteria for methods of analysis used in official checking of the levels of Ochratoxin A in certain foodstuffs; (VII) Methods of sampling for official control of the levels of dioxins (PCDD/PCDF) and the determination of dioxin-like PCBs in certain foodstuffs; (VIII) Sample preparation and requirements for methods of analysis used in official control of the levels of dioxins (PCDD/PCDF) and the determination of dioxinlike PCBs in certain foodstuffs; (IX) Methods of sampling for official control of the levels of patulin in certain foodstuffs; (X) Sample preparation and criteria for methods of analysis used in official checking of the levels of patulin in certain foodstuffs.
