Abstract
The Act, which is composed of 73 paragraphs, establishes principles of: granting of rights for fishery; rational fishery, including protection of alive resources of sea; control of fishery and turnover of fishery products. The Act applies to: owners of Polish fishing vessels; foreign shipowners fishing or processing marine organisms on Polish marine zones; private persons or units who fish for research, training or sport purposes; entrepreneurs who deal with turnover of fishery products. A special permissions is required for marine fishing every year.
