Abstract
This Law defines various measures and provisions regarding the mineral policy and manner of its implementation, institutional provisions, policy regarding the development and performance of geological research and mining rules and conditions, and manner of performing of additional geological exploration (geological resources, research, geological environment and geological surveys) for spatial and urban planning, including articles aimed to define the construction of facilities and the rehabilitation and re-cultivation of the terrain, the manner of classification of resources and reserves of mineral resources and groundwater and geothermal resources, and other issues such as operation and maintenance of mining facilities, machinery, education and equipment, specific mining works, management of mining waste.
The Law is divided into VII Chapters and 195 articles, including the offences and penalties.
Entry into force notes
This Regulation enters into force eight days after its publication in the Official Gazette.
Notes
The provisions of articles 54, 55, 56 and 57 of this Law will enter into force on the date of accession of the Republic of Serbia to the European Union. Consolidated version of the text is attached. This publication also contains some provisions not included in this consolidated version (see after article 195).
