Ministerial Decree No. 394 validating the Regulation on the state forest control and supervision.

This Ministerial Decree establishes the modalities of the state control and supervision over forest management, conservation, protection and reproduction of forests for the purpose of enforcement of forest legislation. The state control and supervision shall be carried out by the Federal Nature Management Service and by the regional executive bodies. The state forest inspectors shall have the right: (a) to suppress and prevent the infringement of forest legislation; (b) to supervise over the observance of forest legislation; (c) to draw reports on forest management; (d) to inspect means of transport and detain them in case of necessity; and (e) to inform citizens of the results of supervision over the observance of forest legislation. The state forest control and supervision shall be carried out in the form of inspections.
