Abstract
This Directive amends several Directives on internal market, genetically modified plant varieties and plant genetic resources, on the marketing of beet seed, fodder plant seed, cereal seed, seed potatoes, seed of oil and fibre plants and vegetable seed and on the common catalogue of varieties of agricultural plant species. The main amendments regard the marketing of seeds and the case of seed of a variety which has been genetically modified, any label or document, official or otherwise, which is affixed to or accompanies the seed lot, under the provisions of this Directive, shall clearly indicate that the variety has been genetically modified and rules are added for the common catalogue of varieties of plant species.
