Act amending the Agricultural Seeds and Propagating Material Act.

This Act lays down some amendments to the Agricultural Seeds and Propagating Material Act in accordance with specified regulations of the European Union. As the result, the amended Act regulates public service activity in the field of seed and provides conditions for the production, preparation for market, import and marketing of propagating material of agricultural crops: cereals, forage crops, potatoes, beet, oil and fiber plants, vegetables, fruits and ornamental plants, vines and hops (called propagating material of agricultural plants), lays down the obligations of persons engaged in the production, preparation for market, import and marketing of seeds and propagating material, the requirements for the marketing of seeds and propagating material and means of compliance with regulatory requirements and regulates the maintenance of varieties registered in the catalog, a special examination of varieties of agricultural plants for a descriptive catalog of varieties, and provisions concerning sampling, the inspection and supervision.
