Abstract
The purpose of this Regulation is to ensure the safety and compliance of products in foreign trade with relevant technical regulations. This Regulation lays down provisions on the technical regulations for the products subject to foreign trade; import and export inspections; the duties and responsibilities of the organizations conducting inspections; the responsibilities of the importer and exporter; commercial quality and product safety inspections in imports; and administrative fines and penalties in cases of non-compliance with technical regulations.
Article 5 addresses the legal compliance and commercial quality inspections of agricultural and food products for export to be carried out by trade inspectors working in the product safety inspection directorates of the Ministry's regional directorates.
This Regulation sets out the procedures for inspection of the products exported to European Union Member States and non-EU countries and the measures to be taken in case of non-compliance with technical regulations. It emphasizes the obligation of accurate labeling, marking, and documentation of products as a condition for export.
