Abstract
This Decree, composed of three articles and one annex, establishes a Unified System for Farming and Cattle Health, thus regulating articles No. 27-A, 28-A and 29-A of Law No.8.171, of 17 January 1991. The annexed regulation, structured in 11 Chapters, defines the System’s structure and main components at federal, State and local levels. Particular attention is paid to animal and vegetable health requirements, monitoring and certification procedures and risk analysis methodologies. Moreover, the Regulation provides also planning and financial guidelines.
