Commission Regulation (EC) No. 1266/2007 on implementing rules for Council Directive 2000/75/EC as regards the control, monitoring, surveillance and restrictions on movements of certain animals of susceptible species in relation to bluetongue.

This Regulation sets out detailed rules governing the control, monitoring, surveillance and restrictions on movements of animals in and from restricted zones, with a view to preventing the outbreak and spread of bluetongue. These provisions specify the methods for notifying the outbreaks of the disease and the epidemiological information to be transmitted by Member States. The movement restrictions laid down in this Regulation apply to animal ova and embryos too.
