Abstract
This Act lays down provisions concerning the commercial quality of agri-food products and the organization and operation principles of the Commercial Quality Inspection of Agri-Food Products. Agri-food products are defined as agricultural products, forest fleece, game, marine and freshwater organisms in the form of raw materials, semi-finished products and finished products obtained from these raw materials and semi-products, including foodstuffs. Agri-food products placed on the market should meet requirements in terms of commercial quality if such requirements are specified in the regulations on commercial quality and additional requirements for these articles if their fulfillment has been declared by a producer. The consolidated Act consists of the following Sections: General provisions (sect. 1); Commercial quality (sect. 2); Commercial Quality Inspection of Agri-Food Products (sect. 3); Control activities (sect. 4); Penal provisions (sect. 5); Changes in valid provisions (sect. 6); Transitional and final provisions (sect. 7).
