Abstract
This Law provides for various provisions aimed to regulate the cultivation, protection, preservation and improvement of forests, including the necessary planning, forest road construction and maintenance, monitoring, as well as other issues of great importance as regards the Montenegrin forest domain (forest land and forest sector related activities).
Major purposes of this Law are to protect the forest land as a good of general interest that enjoys special protection. Some of the main tasks of these rules are aimed to offer; permanent preservation and improvement procedures; sustainable and multifunctional forest management; preservation and enhancement of biological and landscape/soil diversity of forests.
The Law is divided into XV Chapters and 98 articles, including the offences and related penalties.
