Abstract
This Law regulates the production, preparation for trade, labelling, trade, import and export of seeds, planting (agricultural) material (cereals, fodder, vegetables, oil, fibrous, turnips, potatoes, tobacco, ornamentals, fruit plants and vines lineage) and mycelium of fungi for food and foodstuff; including the obligations of persons dealing with production, processing, trade and import and export of seeds and seedlings for agricultural crops; application, examination, approval, certification and classification of varieties of agricultural plants in the national Variety List; additional certification of seeds and seedlings, public authorization, authorized laboratories, storage of final samples of seeds and seedlings; and other rules and provisions defining the specific agricultural planting material sector.
This Law is divided into XIII Chapters and 72 articles, including the offences and penalties.
